Position Description | A postdoctoral position focusing on global biogeochemical modeling of contaminants and measurement of mercury and mercury isotopes in terrestrial ecosystems is available in the Biogeochemistry of Global Contaminants Group at Harvard University (http://bgc.seas.harvard.edu/ ). The successful candidate will have the opportunity work on a variety of projects related to terrestrial mercury cycling, human exposures to PFAS, mercury and PCBs in the Subarctic and pathways of human exposure. |
Basic Qualifications | Ph.D. in environmental chemistry or a related discipline and modeling experience. |
Additional Qualifications | Familiarity with terrestrial mercury cycling and environmental toxicology is preferred. Experience with global terrestrial models or GEOS-Chem is a plus. |
